ABSTRACT: The study focused on a effect of credit on food security of cassava farmers in imo state, Nigeria. The specific objectives were to: to examine the socio-economic characteristics of cassava farmers in the study area, to examine the determinants of household food security among cassava farmers, to evaluate the food security status of cassava farming households, to analyze the relationship between microcredit utilization and food security status and to recommend strategies for improving credit access and food security among cassava farmers. Multistage sampling technique was adopted in selecting the sample for the study.......

ABSTRACT: The study focused on determinants of access to credit by casava farmers in imo state, Nigeria. The specific objectives were to: to identify the socio-economic characteristics of cassava farmers in Imo State, to determine amount of credit demanded and disbursed, to identify the sources and types of micro-credits available to cassava farmers in Imo State, to determine the factors that influence access to micro-credit by the cassava farmers and to recommend policy measures to improve cassava farmers' access to credit. ABSTRACT: The aim of this study was to evaluate the behavior of ten bean varieties introduced at the Maléla station in Loudima. The experimental set-up was a single-factor design, represented by the "Variety" with ten variants, inserted in a randomized complete block Design with three replications. The thirty plots were uniformly fertilized with triple superphosphate at a rate of 6g per poquet. Non-parametric methods were used, notably the Kruskal-Wallis Anova equivalent.....
