Abstract: Background: Breast cancer is the fifth common cause of cancer deaths and one of the most common causes of cancer death in women. Among imaging techniques mammography (MG) helps in diagnosing asymmetry, neo-density and distortion of fibro-glandular architecture where ultrasonography(USG) plays a key role in differentiating cystic and solid masses. The present study evaluated palpable breast masses using mammography and ultrasound.
