Abstract: Background: Scrub Typhus is a mite borne reemerging zoonotic bacterial disease, transmitted by bite of chiggers of trombiculid mite.Clinical diagnosis of scrub typhus is very difficult from other acute febrile illness due to nonspecific symptoms. The aim of our study is to know the prevalence of scrub typhus in our area and its relationship with age,gender and seasonal variation.
