Abstract: Introduction: Dynamic valgus is a change that occurs in the knee where there is a misalignment of the knee during walking and descending steps. To assess this condition, the “step down test” is used. Objective: The objective of this research was to collect data that describe the importance of the Step-Down Test for the biomechanical assessment of dynamic knee valgus. Methodology: The study is configured as a descriptive literature review. The keywords used were: “Step Down Test”, “Dynamics valgus”, “Single leg step down test”, “Patellofemoral syndrome.......
Key Word: Step Down Test. Dynamics valgus. Single leg step down test. Patellofemoral syndrome
