Abstract: Breathing could play a role in overall treatment plan of gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD). A 2011 study published in The American Journal of Gastroenterology indicates diaphragm exercises may have a positive effect on reflux symptoms. Aim: Was to study the effect of practicing deep breathing exercises on improving quality of life of gastroesophageal reflux disease patients. Design: a quasi-experimental study design. Setting: The study was carried out in medical units and outpatient clinics of two hospitals, EL-Hussein and Bab-ELSharia university hospitals, Egypt. Subjects: A convenient sample of 50 adult patients from both genders who agreed to participate in the study according to inclusion criteria. Tools: Three tools were used to collect data include: tool I. Patient socio-demographic characteristics data, tool II. Interview questionnaire sheet, tool III. Abstract: Acquired immune deficiency syndrome (AIDS), can be defined as an infectious and fatal disease of the twenteenth century, and caused by human immunodeficiency virus (HIV). The study aims to evaluate the effect of educational guidelines on knowledge of AIDS and its preventive practice among non-medical undergraduate students. Abstract: The menopausal phase of life is not a disease but a phase of gradual decline in ovarian function in women's life. This phase of life is physiological and associated with physical, psychosocial and cultural significance. Our study investigated the age at onset, prevalence, severity and burden among midlife women. This study was conducted among 405 midlife women in six communities in Delta State. A modified Menopause Specific Questionnaire was used. Internal consistency reliability of the subscales of the instrument was checked using the Cronbach alpha test. It yielded a result of 0.832 and validity was tested using face and content criteria. Abstract: This study examined pattern of food hygiene and environmental health practices among some selected food Vendors' in most part of Osun State. The study was a descriptive survey design which assessed 200 food vendors who are engaged in all forms of food vending in the state. The result of the study shows that (42.5%) of the food vendor's had secondary education and also fall between 20-30 years of age, majority follow the rule of environmental health practices such as covering of bin for waste and refuse up to(70%), (30%) ensuring personal hygiene of washing hands with water and soap after toilet, 24.4% and 22.3% could not see anything wrong in using the same utensil and instruments for raw meat and vegetable without washing. Respondent also had good knowledge and awareness on food hygiene. The relationship between food hygiene and environmental hygiene is positive.....
