Abstract: Background: Cervical cancer is the fourth most common cancer affecting the women worldwide. If women in India undergo periodic screening for cervical cancer, it could be possible to detect the cancer in early stages and thereby reducing mortality and morbidity. Screening would be broadly influenced by knowledge about cervical cancer.
