Abstract: The study investigated perception and experience of dating violence among secondary school adolescents in Etche Local Government Area, Rivers State. Descriptive survey design was adopted. Two research questions and two hypotheses guided the study. The population of the study consisted of 610 secondary school adolescents, out of which 400 adolescents were selected as sample size from the target population. Purposive sampling technique was used in carrying out this study. The instrument for data collection was a self-developed 12 item instrument. It was titled "Adolescents' Dating Violence Questionnaire (ADVQ)". ADVQ was used to get the desired information from the respondents (adolescents).
